Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

These terms cover the websites and apps run by Rethlasoft LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, under the name Rethlasoft Labs. By creating an account or using one of our apps, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.

1. The apps

Right now that means SchengenLog (schengenlog.com). An app can have its own pricing and feature details on its own pages. Where those conflict with these terms for that app, the app's details win. Apps marked "coming soon" aren't covered until they launch.

2. Your account

You need to be at least 16. Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe, whether that's a password or your Google account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has got into it, email support@rethlasoftlabs.com.

We can suspend or close an account that is used to attack the service, break the law, or harm other users.

3. Using the apps

Don't attack, probe or overload the service, and don't try to reach anyone else's data. Don't use the apps to break the law. Don't create accounts or pull data out in bulk with automated tools. Don't resell or rebrand the apps without our written permission.

4. Free use, the trial and cloud storage

SchengenLog's calculator is free to use, with no account. If you're not signed in, your trips stay in your own browser and we never receive them.

If you want to keep your trips over time and use them on all your devices, create an account. You get 90 days of cloud storage free. After 90 days you can pay to continue using the service. If 90 days is enough for you, we don't ask for payment details, and nothing is charged or renewed when the trial ends.

When the 90 days are up, you can carry on by subscribing to cloud storage from the app: $5 a month or $48 a year (see section 5). Your saved trips are still there, so there's nothing to re-enter. If you'd rather not subscribe, your account becomes read-only: you can still see your trips, but you can't add, change or delete them until you subscribe. The same applies if a paid subscription ends. We keep your saved data until you ask us to delete your account (see section 7).

5. Paid subscriptions

Cloud storage for SchengenLog costs $5 a month or $48 a year, plus tax where it applies. At checkout the price may be shown in your own currency, so the amount can differ slightly.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Through its Managed Payments service, Stripe (shown to you as Link) is the seller of record. It charges your payment method, works out and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST, sends your receipts and refund notices, and deals with payment disputes. Charges may appear on your statement as LINK.COM. You can see your orders and manage your subscription at link.com, or with the "Manage subscription" button in the app.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year, at the current price, until you cancel. If the price changes, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then. Before a yearly renewal we'll send you a reminder email. If a payment fails we may try it again, and if it still doesn't go through we may pause cloud storage until it's sorted out.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" in the app, at link.com, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

You can get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment on a new subscription, monthly or yearly, or within 14 days of a yearly renewal payment. A refund ends your subscription straight away, so paid access stops when the refund is issued. The refund includes any tax you paid on the charge. Your 14 days start when you subscribe, not when your free trial started.

To ask, use the refund option in the app if it's available, or email support@rethlasoftlabs.com from the address on your account. We refund to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of your request, though your bank may take longer to show it.

Outside those windows, for example a monthly renewal or a request made more than 14 days after a payment, we don't refund the current period. You can still cancel to stop future charges. None of this limits any rights you have under the law (see section 10).

7. Your data

You own the trips and other content you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the service for you. If you agree to analytics, we also collect information about how you use the apps so we can improve them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle personal data.

To delete your account and the data in it, email support@rethlasoftlabs.com from the address on the account. Stripe and we keep some billing records because the law requires it.

8. Not professional advice

SchengenLog is a calculator and record-keeping tool. It isn't legal, immigration or tax advice. It can contain mistakes, and entry rules change. Border officers decide how the rules apply to you, not this app. Check the official rules and your own situation before you travel. You're responsible for your own compliance.

9. Warranties and liability

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise they will run without interruption or errors, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim any implied warranties.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses that come from relying on a calculation. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Consumer rights in the EU, EEA and UK

If you're a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you may have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of making it, without giving a reason. The refund policy in section 6 gives you a full refund within 14 days of your first payment with no deduction, so you don't need to claim a partial amount. The mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply to you, whatever these terms say.

11. Changes, ending the service and governing law

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give notice, by email or in the app, before they apply. If you keep using the apps after that, you accept the changes. If you don't want to, you can cancel.

You can stop using the apps and close your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access for the reasons in section 2, and we can discontinue an app with reasonable notice. If we discontinue a paid app, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, and the courts in Colorado have jurisdiction. If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you keep any right you have to bring a claim in your home courts and to the protections of your home country's law.
